update 2: 27/9/16

Old Thatch Tavern to get Old Kent Road square?

It’s looking like The Old Thatch Tavern is to get Old Kent Road square and The White Swan Hotel to get Whitechapel Road square on the new Stratford-upon-Avon edition of Monopoly – More Here…

Update: A little bird tells me that the people behind the Stratford-upon-Avon edition of Monopoly have a little surprise in store for Old Kent Road – All well and good, but will they do the same for Whitechapel Road?

All this effectively does is slide the slum area along to the light blues like The Angel Islington, Pentonville Road or Euston Place.

Where will be the Old Kent Road in the Stratford-upon-Avon edition of Monopoly?

I see the Stratford Herald has a red property space on the new Stratford-upon-Avon Monopoly Edition and are very pleased about it.

The Stratford Herald will have the Fleet Street square, joining other local organisations such as the Royal Shakespeare Company and The Shakespeare Hospice who have already had their places confirmed.

I wonder if whoever is classed as Old Kent Road or Whitechapel Road will be as thrilled though?

The residents will become the laughing stock of Stratford and will forever be referred as the Monopoly slums of Stratford-upon-Avon
